A Kan [Ge]
Appeared in Zoids Genesis.
She is the leader of the anti-Digald Invincible Group. Her nickname is “Anego” (older sister). She forced Ruuji to become a member of the Invincible Group when he was separated from his companions on a mountain.

Aaron Family [F]
Appeared in Zoids Fuzors, episode 17.
Their details are unknown but Kevin, Jay and Shin belong to a crime organisation.

Ace (Earth) Kroitz [Ga]
First appeared in Zoids Saga (GBA). He supports Prince Athle as one of Arcadia Kingdom’s 3 Beast Warriors. He is a former officer of the Imperial Army.

Active Radar [O]
Hound Solider’s equipment. It is also on Orudios and King Liger.

Active Shield [O]
The mobile shield that is attached to the CP-25 Active Shield Unit.

Active Shield Unit [N : CP-25]
Custom parts for use by small sized Zoids. Since the shield support arm freely moves it is hard to find a weak point. The active shield set also includes a smoke discharger, a grapple-use Strike Tonfer and a Small-Type Beam Cannon, etc.
The set is green in colour, however in May 2003 a red version was sold as a Zoid Shop limited.

Active Stealth [N]
Liger Zero’s optical camouflage function.

Adam [M]
Adam appeared in Zoids Battler Thunder Fang volume 2 onwards with a Zoids conversion ability IC chip. He helped develop the Varcha System and inserted it into Thunder Fang’s Zero.
In order to fill the memory of one of the developers’ deceased son, he has a similar personality.

Adams (Captain) [W]
The hero of Delusional Battle History chapter 2, “Demon Dragon’s Tempura”. He pilots a Geno Breaker.
After retiring from the military he works in a deep-fried food shop.

Adonis Ocean [Ga]
A place from ZOIDS VS.i (a mobile phone game). The ocean touches the Diorne continent, but part of it has perilously strong electromagnetic waves (If you consider Diorne’s position, the sea is capable of being the Daras Ocean of the future).

Age Town [F]
Appeared in episode one of Zoids Fuzors. RD is supposed to deliver gems to this town.

Aguru [Ga]
This character, from the mobile phone game “ZOIDS VS.i” is a first lieutenant of the Imperial Army’s special duty unit (basically a human on the supporting side). In the past he found a Death Stinger and somehow managed to pilot it.
He likes Tabitha.

Akebo Academy Zoid Club [C]
Appeared in volume 2 of Special Assault! Zoid Boy Unit. It is a club formed by the children who attend Akebo Academy and like Zoids. On the academy’s campus they play drums and worship an Ultrasaurus made from scrap wood and old tyres.
In the height of Zoids, they go to the battle of the Gold Liger and Shield Liger that is being held in the streets and they are pursued by a worried Ms Ryouko - who, as a result, gains a large injury after being swallowed up in a blast.
The members’ motto is “because you avoid assault!” and Takeru, who has unjustified resentment towards things, awakens during a battle to see himself through his own eyes and co-operates with the Zoid Boy Unit. Immediately after Deadborder fires its Hyper Beam Cannon the hatch opens and expels air and the boys discover this.

Aki Isurugi [Ga]
A pilot in the Neo Zenebas route 3-7 in the story mode of Zoids Infinity (arcade game). He pilots a Matrix Dragon. His rank is Major.
It is unknown whether he is the same person who pilots the Shadow Arms Lizard.

Aki Isurugi [X]
He is the pilot of the Shadow Arms Lizard and older brother of Hiro. He is in charge of handling the S.A.L.
It is unknown if he is related to Kei Isurugi from the battle cards.
On the internet and in magazines he became Al Isurugi.

Akutei [Ga]
From Zoids Saga Fuzors (GBA). She is the daughter of the vice-president of the ZiG Corporation and Will’s childhood friend. She is a genius Zoid designer and designed the Victory Liger.

Albane Nimbus [Ga]
A male character from Zoids VS (GameCube) and Zoids Saga 2 (GBA). He is the commander and unit leader of the Helic Republic’s prototype experiment platoon, the Blue Unicorn. In the past he worked as a firearm serviceman to the Ultrasaurus.

Albatross [O]
One of the 9 Gojulas variations. It deals with air battles.

Albe Church Sea [O]
A sea near Cooper Bay. It was first in History of Zoids.

Albert [CC]
One of the Crossbow brothers from Chaotic Century.

Aldannu Forest [O]
The initial battlefield of the Central Continent War.

Alexandal Ground [N]
An area in the north of Europa.

Alexander [GF]
Appeared in Guardian Force episode 51, “Cerberus”. He is a researcher at the Guylos Empire’s Vashkuyard Academy.

Alilah [M]
Appeared in the “ZOIDS BATTLE ANGLE” of Hobby Japan’s June 2005 issue. It is a customised Leo Striker owned by the hunting army corps “Lion’s Claw”. In Ultimate Mode, the back legs are equipped with Zan Smashers. Also, Dispelow’s Metal Crusher Horns are attached to the left and right sides of the body. It’s red in colour.

Alligator Mode [B]
One of BZ-020 Leo Gator’s modes. As an alligator-type Zoid it deals with underwater battles.

Allstar [Ga]
The hero of Silver Beast Machine Spirit Liger Zero (Gameboy).

Alpha (First Lieutenant) [O]
From History of Zoids. He is an oceanographer who researches fish but aspires to enlist in the Republic Army. With a customised Furolesios as a high speed boat, he acts as a coast guard.
He was childhood friends with a Sinker pilot from the Zenebas Empire, Fighter Gordon.
In the Zoid group profile in volume one of the Zoids Battle Story he is introduced as a brave yet lovable man.

Alpha Plan [Ga]
A plan that the secret society Melkisedec advanced with a generator. It appeared in Zoids VS.i (mobile phone game).
During the scenario the only phrase that can be understood is “Organoid’s reset” but during this period on planet Zi all existing Organoid Systems are stopped. Only they can handle the Organoid System and it seems as though the plan has been rewritten (the exact purpose of this plan is unknown).

Alpha Richter [F]
Blue City’s new mayor in Zoids Fuzors. In the shadows Alpha is a man of aspiration — forming the Richter Scale and envisioning world conquest.
He is actually Sandra’s brother-in-law. Even if Sandra does unreasonable things, her safety can be ensured.

Altbluster [O]
A Gunbluster that walks on two legs. Appeared in the Battle Story.

Alteil [NC]
A leader of the secret society, the Backdraft Group, that appears in New Century/0. He is the heroes’ enemy, but his doings are not strange with the black devil.

Alteil Plains [Ga]
An area that appears in ZOIDS VS.i (mobile phone game). After the game starts it is the first place the hero goes to. In this era wild Zoids are not unusual, as it look like it is relatively easy to encounter them in this region.

Alteisia [Ga]
Appeared in Evil God’s Revival! Story of the Geno Breaker (Gameboy). She is a resident of the Wind Colony where Van lives. When speaking with her, she conducts a lecture on the game’s battles.

Alteisia Field [Ga]
A Republic Army 2nd Lieutenant from ZOIDS2 (PlayStation). She is a high-tension woman.
In the second half of the game she accepts President Camford’s command and registers the Ultrasaurus to the Manoeuvre unit affiliated with the Republic's hero.

Altra Plains [F]
The place where Mach Storm confronted Marvis in Zoids Fuzors, episode 10.

Amargasaurus [N]
One of Brastle Tiger’s Changemize examples. This amargasaurus type Zoid uses parts from Lord Gale, Diantler and Scissor Storm. With it’s thick neck and tail it mows down enemies and since it stands out from head to tail it is an excellent form for grapple battles, where it can stab the enemy.

Ambient [GF]
A red Organoid from the Guardian Force anime. It is partners with Hiltz.

Ambitions [Ga]
A crime organisation in Zoids Saga Fuzors (GBA). The leader is Kraun.

Amelia [NC]
A parts shop worker who appeared in New Century/0, episode 21. She endures watching Bit strip.

Ammocraft [BC]
The Republic’s ammonite-type air-movement fort. It is possible to stow two Zoids in the shell.
Appeared in the 6th booster pack.

Anchor [N]
It is essential that a Zoid’s posture is stationary when firing a Charged Particle Gun (CPG) so all Zoids that have the ability to fire CPGs are equipped with anchors no matter what.
Shadow Fox is also equipped with anchors, but their use is unknown. However in the last episode of New Century the Shadow Fox uses its anchors to hold its body still while firing a Vulcan. By fixing the Zoid to the ground, its accuracy is increased, and in the case of a Zoid being equipped with large equipment the anchors help to suppress recoil when the weapon’s used.

Ander Sea [N]
A sea to the north of the Western Continent.

Andrei [O]
A Republican spy who appeared in the History of Zoids.
He infiltrated an underground factory belonging to the Zenebas Empire and discovered a new gigantic Zoid. While relaying this to the Republic, his communication is suddenly ceased and it is unknown whether he is alive or dead. The gigantic Zoid is later identified as “Iron Kong”…

Anna Tarles [N] [BC]
First appeared in Fan Book 3. She is a pilot of the experimental Death Stinger KFD and Wolff Muroa’s childhood friend, but she died by the hand of Ray Gregg.
In the Zoids Official Fan Book 3 ace pilot list she is a captain belonging to the 13th special work division 2nd special duty unit, but in the posthumous writings at the beginning of “Evil Warrior Vs. Final Wild Body!!” she is a 2nd Lieutenant. It is explained that because she died in battle she was later promoted.
Anna is also a card in the ZBC booster pack 5th shot.

Antares [X]
A custom Zoid from the old Battle Story. Antares is a scorpion-type. It looks as though it is bigger than the Guysack.

Anti Zoids Core Wave [W]
Suspicious electromagnetic wave producing equipment that equips Dark Spiner and Zabat in the web comic (Buck vs. Maya).

Aqua Erius [N] [BC]
Appears in ZBC booster pack 6. A pilot of the Guylos Empire. He pilots the Gun Gyarado.
In Fan Book EX 05 (comes with EZ-068 Storch) he is a Captain of the Air Force. He pilots the Chimera Command Unit’s Storch which is equipped with a Plasma Blade. A fight unfolds between him and a Raynos at low altitudes.

Aqua Kong [O]
A Kong developed by the Dark Army to have the capabilities to move underwater. It is equipped with a rocket underwater gun, and has the power to sink even an Ultrasaurus.

Aqua Sea [O]
The sea south-east of the Central Continent.

Aquadon [O : RMZ-003]
A frog type Zoid from the early old series. It was one of the Mechabonica.

Aquazoid [X]
A renamed Aquadon sold in the English ZOIDS2 series. The float is metallic silver and the body’s frame is blue.
It was used as a product for the test sale at the 1998 October Tokyo Game Show before the Zoids resale. In China (Hong Kong) it was sold as a set with Gurantula — coloured green and yellow-orange, it was the beginning of intense colours being used.

Arashiyama [C]
A member of the Republic Zoid Boy Unit who appeared in Takao Aomori’s Special Assault! Zoid Boy Unit.
He is not close with the heroes. He participates in the custom Zoids Battle Tournament with a customised Gojulas and commits rough play in the Preliminary Simulation Battle Race.

Arcadia Kingdom [Ga]
Kingdom where the hero of Zoids Saga (GBA) is prince.
Is inherited ancient Zoidan space-time transference equipment there?

Arla Barone [CC] [GF]
First from the Chaotic Century anime. Arla Barone is a two person group — one wears a red mask and the other a purple mask — also known as the “Barons of Wings”, pilot Storm Sworders and appear to help Van when he gets in a pinch.
As a matter of fact, the head villain reforming and becoming the hero’s companion is Japanese animation’s gold pattern.

Arm Catcher [N]
Megaleon has this capture-type arm in its mouth.
By manually turning the head dial of the model kit the arm can expand and contract. By making use of this the caught-posing soldier figure can be attached to the chameleon tongue.

Armed Liger [BC]
This is a remodelled Liger from the card game. The custom Shield Liger’s front armour has been strengthened and the assault gatling and beam cannon fire power has been increased.
This card was distributed at events, etc.

Armour Liger [M]
An example of a remodelled Murasame Liger that appeared in Korokoro Comic’s August 2005 issue. It said “the editorial department was thinking about Murasame Liger’s Evolt form”.
This shooting-battle Evolt form is equipped with composite armour and heavy artillery. The cockpit has an armour cover and the whole body has an olive-green coating. The beam cannon and engine cannon on its back can be made from parts similar to the Jagd containers. Also on the head armour it looks as though Renge is used.
After this, it also appeared on Tomy’s Official Site — “Road to a Zoids Customising Master”.

Armoured Leo [B]
Leo Gator’s Liger mode combined with Gairyuki’s B-CASes, Hien and Gekkou.

Armoured Stinger [C]
The Armoured Stinger is a remodelled Death Stinger that appeared in the Zoids Customising Manual. It is equipped with a huge drill and caterpillar.
It first shows up in volume 1, chapter 9 of Zoids Battler Thunder Fang.

Armoured Suits [O]
These are the war-type armour clothes the Imperial-sided Earthlings had in the early days of the old war. They appeared in the Figure Deluxe Set No. 03 and Diorama Base Set Super DX.
It fits most average-sized soldiers. On the right shoulder is a super bazooka and there is a missile pod on the left shoulder. The fire power of these is boosted by the connecting backpack.

Armoured Wolf [F]
Armour Wolf appears on the package of the FZ-edition Command Wolf. It is an example of unison between the Command Wolf and Boldguard. Boldguard’s changemize unit is equipped to the Wolf’s back.

Aro Launcher [O]
An Arosaurer equipped with Cannon Diver’s Beam Cannon and capable of medium distance bombardment. Also equipped on its right hand is what appears to be Cannon Diver’s shell — used as a shield. There is a photo of Aro Launcher in Fan Book 4.

Arosaurer [O : RHI-08] [N : RZ-067]
The Republic Army’s Allosaurus type Zoid sold at the end of the old series. As a successor to the Godos it is sent in to the Central Continent battle at the centre of the assault unit but many disappeared during the old war and the big disaster. On the Central Continent after that, Arosaurer was mass-produced as a next-era main force machine.
At the end of April 2003 it was resold, and in the Fan Book EX that comes with it Arosaurer obtains responsibility as Gojulas Giga’s escort machine.
It’s grapple-battle capacity is high and with Zoids of the same class it boasts the highest ability.

Arosaurer BPS [F : FZ-009]
Appeared in Zoids Fuzors. Chao pilots this Peace Keeping Buerau Zoid. The armour’s colour is blue and on the shoulder is a patrol lamp.

Arosaurer High-Speed Type [O]
A high-speed specification Arosaurer that was used for the Professor Chester rescue mission. By chance the pursuit-mode development in this machine’s data was probably the origin of Gojulas Giga’s pursuit-mode because they look similar when they run. Incidentally the head part has the ability to act as a separate vehicle.

Arrow [Ga]
Appeared in Zoids Vs.3 (GameCube). The hero of the game, this member of the Slashwing team is nicknamed “The Crimson Hurricane”. He disappears from the world of Zoids Battles and becomes an agent undertaking illegal work.
In Zoids Infinity (PS2) his younger brother Lance — who knows of Arrow’s existance — is introduced to Aruma and they become involved in dark battles.
He is a hidden character in Zoids Struggle (PS2).

Arrow Phalanx [BC] [C] [Ga]
Appeared in Zoids Battle Card Warrior Commander TERU.
With a certain kill skill that the hero Teru worked out, 3 Zoids can launch a consecutive grapple attack to an enemy Zoid. During play, the card was used by Doctor Sonota.
It looks like it has splendid popularity and it is also a deck command in Zoids Saga 2 (GBA). As well as this, it was attached to an issue of CoroCoro as a Zoids Battle Card.

Arthur Borgman [N]
First seen in Fan Book 2. He is an old Republican ace pilot who is called the “Leo Master”. His first appearance was in a struggle to the death with Guylos Empire’s Ritz Runstead. After this, in a battle with the running-wild Death Stinger, his death was caused by a simultaneous attack.

Arthur City [O]
A city in the northern part of the Helic Republic's capital.

Aruma [Ga]
Appeared in Zoids Vs.3 (GameCube).
Aruma is the only daughter of ZOITEC’s company president. Because she has been brought up as the company president’s daughter her character is obedient but proud. During a Zoid test the company president disappears and Aruma trusts Arrow to search for his whereabouts.
In Zoids Infinity (PS2) Lance is a passenger in the Brastle Tiger during Arrow’s introduction and a scout is done for the Zoids Battle Team.

Ash [F]
Appeared in Zoids Fuzors. He is RD’s father. He left on a journey to find the Legendary Zoid and it seams his whereabouts have become unknown.

Ash [Ga]
Appears in Cyberdrive Zoids (GBA). He lives in the village where the hero, Hugh, was raised. He has a good relationship with Hugh.
He is probably Mary’s brother.

Assault Armour Tail [N]
BZ-023 Savinga’s tail thing. It becomes leg armour when on Whitz Tiger.

Assault Gatling Unit [N : CP-15]
A CP used by Elephander. This Missile Launcher and Gatling Cannon set is used in medium-distance bombardment and in close-range battle with high-speed Zoids.

Assault Horn [O]
A Red Horn equipped with Pulse Cannons. Its weapons are strong but has made it’s balance bad.

Assault König [BC]
König Wolf’s shooting-strength version. It is equipped with the CP-22 Dual Sniper Rifle and CP-23 AZ 5-Barrelled Missile Pod.
Assault König is from the ZBC booster pack 6.

Assault Seeker [N]
An crab-type Command Zoid. Its name in the Attack Zoid series is Seabatoras.

Assault Unit [N : CP-02]
Saber Tiger’s additional equipment. The Saber Tiger equipped with this is called the Saber Tiger AT.

Assemble Plastic Model Kit [O]
The general term for the Zoids kits that was put on the old Zoids. Up to then they were called pop-up kits.

Assistance Boosters [N]
Command Wolf AC’s equipment from CP-04 Attack Unit. It is acceleration equipment that attaches to the Zoid’s back legs.

Athle Arcadia [Ga]
Arcadia Kingdom’s prince, who is hero of Zoids Saga (GBA).
Maybe he has loss of speech since he does not talk. However he later talks just fine in Zoids VS (GameCube) and Zoids Saga 2 (GBA).

Atlas [X]
An official custom stag beetle type Zoid from before the Battle Story.

Atory Arcadia [Ga]

Atrocious Wolf [M]
Appeared in part B of the January 2002 issue of the Dengeki Hobby Magazine. It is Command Wolf’s final form, with head parts built into the left and right shoulder armour of the Zoid’s front legs. It is able to transform into a 3-headed cerberus mode.

Attack Booster Unit [N : CP-12]
Customise parts that strengthen the Blade Liger with a booster and a Multiple-Use High Density Beam Cannon.
In one episode of the Anime, this appeared.
It vanished from the market. It’s price was 400 yen.

Attack Kong [N]
A gorilla type Command Zoid. Originally the Silver Kong.

Attack Raynos [X]
A remodelled Raynos that appeared in the Zoids Customising Manual foot story, “ZOIDS WARS”.
Its wings have been extended and boosters added. Due to this the Raynos’ movement capability is drastically higher. It is yellow.

Attack Unit [N : CP-04]
An optimum AZ 2-Barrelled 250mm Long-Range Cannon and Assistance Booster set for the Command Wolf. Because of this equipment the Command Wolf cavalry succeeded with upped bombardment power.
In May 2003 a modified black and white version was sold as a Zoids Shop limited.

Attack Zoid [O]
The old name of the Command Zoids. It is a series that came with sweets.
Nowadays they belong to the Command Zoids category.

Audmura Peninsula [N]
A peninsula located on the western point of the Dark Continent of Nyx.

Aviniyon [Ga]
Appeared in Zoids Apocalypse (NES). He is an Imperial Commander (Dark Army). He was a prodigy at military academy, but this is his first time in actual combat.

Aware Cat [O] [Ga]
An enforcement reconnaissance specification Helcat. The Zoid’s mobility has been increased, output has been upped and the chassis has been strengthened. Also, due to the exhaust port being improved, detection by enemies has become harder. A radar has been installed on its back.
It’s origin is from the variation map on the back of the old Zoid’s box. This name is from Evil God’s Revival! Story of the Geno Breaker (Gameboy).

Azz [N]
From the Zoids Bible that comes with the Zoids Core Box. He is half Earthling and half Zoidian.
On the display panel at Big Zoids Expo it was explained that he can use the Earth’s technology called the “Interface Cell”.
